We removed invasive plants along the edge of the cemetery bordering the road to improve visibility into the space.
Worked on removing invasive wintercreeper vines from trees at Dr. Walter Hardy Park under the direction of Gianni Tesfaye. We were able to clear numerous trees adjacent to Doctor's Row and elsewhere within the park and adjacent cemetery.
Assisted in clearing invasive vegetation and trash from the forested area/hillside north of the main house. Opened up a really nice view that had previously been obscured, and rescued several native trees!
Worked on my Weed Warrior spot along Imerys and Flow Trails. I focused exclusively on the area between Flow Trail and McClure Lane, and opened up a decent-sized area.
A great experience as always! We had a good group that worked hard despite the heat.
Worked on my Weed Warrior spot between Imerys and Flow trails. I also bumped over to the other side of Flow Trail and worked on an area that borders McClure Lane as well, since there is a fair amount of mature bush honeysuckle and privet plants there.
