This mini session helped me learn more confident about finding my financial aid, I now know how to check it correctly to make sure everything is correct. Also I learned that there is a app on my phone that I could download, which would be more helpful and easier for me to access.

This is my first year at PGCC, I did register Spring semester but I missed the demo for that semester so this demo really helped me learn how give pulse works. I feel more confident logging my hours and working givepulse.

I joined the Strive Orientation, I was able to learn about this group, also ending up joining because I think it will provide me with great skills to help with succeeding in my classes and outside of classes.

I was able to get a refresh on important information about this scholarship that will help me maintain a good standing relationship

I spent the day with a Pre-k class helping with assisting with the teachers. Teaching is another career I am interested in, getting experience with the kids makes me realize I would enjoy teaching.

This was my first campus event I was able to attend. I was able to explore the campus and see more whats on the campus. I did enjoy helping out and setting up for the event.

The meeting was very informative about the scholarship, this being me first meeting since being with the promise scholarship I learned a lot about the scholarship and the requirements for the scholarship that I didn’t previously know.

Today I spent the morning with PreK, I enjoy being in the school environment and helping out with the students. Teaching is an career choice I was considering, being in the classroom helps give me a idea is I would like to become a teacher

I really enjoyed volunteering at the fire department. I was able to experience what running a call feels like, and see first hand experience on helping people. With nursing being my career choice I was able to get a little of a preview of what patient care would be like. I also was able to learn how to take a blood pressure and learn what each number means. I was able to provide services to senior citizens in the neighborhood at the station. I spent the day helping set up stations and provide blood pressure services to the people in the neighborhood.
