I am so happy I finally got to volunteer at the Birmingham Humane Society. I have been wanting to since I learned about the society. I enjoyed getting to play with the cats, especially Weasley. He was very sweet, but I can tell he is mischievous. Whoever adopts him will be very lucky. I did not enjoy dog-walking. Dolly Parton was tap-dancing on my nerves the entire time. I will definitely be volunteering again.

It was fun packing boxes again for the general food pantry. I did hurt myself trying to place cans of tomato sauce, which was really annoying. The main highlight is that in only two hours and with less people than they needed, we packed 560 boxes, meaning 560 families were fed to our work. What an incredible feat!
