Great finale to the Winter Running Series! My thanks goes to Ashley, Mika, Laura, Jerry, Kenya, and Kaden for also helping with medals - they were very helpful and cheery! I also extend that thanks to everyone else who has helped, such as Brooke, Ashlee, Troy, and Alex. The race was great to see runners finish again, but helping for the series Masters/Overall awards ceremony felt good, too.
Cheers to everyone, and I’m excited to help once more at the full Ogden Marathon in May!

This event was really fun to help with! Handing out medals with McKayla (also, kudos to Bob for the assistance beforehand!) and joining runners’ friends and family to cheer was an invigorating start to my Saturday. Also, Alex and the executive director were great emcees - I admit I’d love to try it at some point, but the two of them are perfect and on-point.
Provided that these Saturday’s remain clear for me, I’ll be back to help with the half marathon, and would also love to do some volunteering at the big Ogden Marathon’s finish line festival - I already look forward to it!
This was a fun opportunity! Tony and McKayla - the other two medalist volunteers - were very friendly and helpful, and super patient as I quickly got a handle on where we helped. I’m already looking forward to helping at the 10-Miler, and I’m eager to sign up for assisting in the Half-Marathon, and certainly in May’s full Ogden Marathon. Thank you to everyone for a lovely first time!
