WorldTutors: Virtually Everywhere is an international virtual tutoring program promoting education through friendship. Tutors are volunteers, age 12 - PhD professors, and share skills in the areas of math, science, history, literacy and world languages.
WorldTutors is FUN. Kids are begging for their turn. Tutors are eager to provide multiple sessions. Community centers report that students are super engaged, and that we provide much needed student support.
WorldTutors is more than academic support – we offer vibrant cultural exchange where students and tutors bond through learning, games and shared interests, making connections from California to Chicago to Uganda, to Haiti and across the globe.
"WorldTutors has meant so much to me. Thank you for everything you have done for me and for letting me be a part of an organization that has changed the way I approach language and myself." Nascha, tutor, WorldTutors, Washington state
