I went to the back of RI and talked to the members. I walked around and sat with Harrison. I helped break apart the things they were working on for the members who can not do it on their own. Then I talked to the volunteer coordinators about silent auction a little bit.
The crystal bridges art museum came to life skills and showed us how to make LED light drawings. I walked around and helped the members with this project. Ater they were done, I socialized with all the clients and then I helped clean up.
Today I worked in the ERC industries. I helped break the things that they are working on for Walmart. They break them down to make it easier for some of the members to use them. I sat at table 1 and chatted with them and learned more about them and their families. Harrisons mom came in town this past weekend so we talked about that!
Today I went back and spent time with Harrison. He is around 38 and he has a big personality. He is really funny and pretty high functioning. I sat with him ad help him with his work while chatting with him. I also got to meet the new volunteer person who started this week. I helped them start lunches and just mostly spent time with them.
Today we had a valentines celebration. They didn't have to work today so I spent time playing games and having a dance party with them. I got there when they were finishing snacks and then we just talked and celebrated. It was really fun. After that I went back and helped take some pictures out of things that were used for the bowling event. Then we put the up in the attic.
I spent time helping set up for the bowling event that was later that night. While helping I was learning about how they plan and set up for their events. It was a family event which was exciting. I also went back and spent some time with the members and sat with the and helped them with their lunches.
