- During the workshop, I got to learn about the essentials of a resume, different formats for resumes and learned about the Career Coach resume builder.

Learned about some of the features that can be used in Owl Careers. I about ways to do my job search as well as learned about how to standout using tools like resume builder and also Mock interviews.

Virtual Human Trafficking Event
I learned a lot about human trafficking and how it works. I learned about how human trafficking is operated and some of the statistics behind human trafficking. I learned about different methods human traffickers use to get victims.

Got to hear a couple of poems that were written during the time of segregation. Some poems were about the civil unrest during that time. Some other poems were about hope for the future. I got to learn more about MLK and some of the things he did.

Got a refresher on all of the requirements of the program. Also did a Kahoot answering questions on what we know about the program.

Reviewed the requirements for the scholarship program and also talk about alot of the changes. There was a Q/A section Completed the end of session quiz.

I learned about the effects of my digital footprint. I definitely know now that I need to be more careful about my online footprint and realize that potential employers can see my presence. This is an important factor for them when deciding to provide employment or offers.
