Helped serve meals to families during after-school program. Facilitated puzzle and crafting activities for children in Pre-K grade level. I supervised toy playtime while also interacting with the children and participating in their play scenarios. Helped clean up and store supplies.

I helped serve meals for families who came in for the after-school program and assisted a Spanish-Speaking family with filling out a form assessing their child's developmental skills. I interacted with children in grades K-2 while they completed word search and drawing activities related to the book that was read to them. I joined in along with other volunteers in playing recess games with the children such as tag and red light/green light. A lot of connections where made and I had a lot of fun getting to know such bright children!
