It was a really informative event for me, I came in not knowing a whole lot of who was really in charge of representing people like me and my family. But when Ashanti F. Martinez went on the stage and gave us a introduction of who he was and what he was doing to secure better quality of life for members of Prince Georges county, I felt relieved that there is someone so diverse and determined to fight for us and the care of everyone. I also didn't know that my opinions and concerns were really take seriously by being brought up to state and federal meetings.

The event I attended was called the Virtual Happy Feet Line dancing, We Learned a variety of different dance moves. The first One we learned was called the "Mississippi Cha Cha Slide", Second one was the "west brook slide", Third One was the hardest but definitely the most fun dance I learned throughout and it was called the "wobble" I believe but the instructor who coordinated the entire line said it was similar or just like to another dance called the wobble. Fourth dance move was called the "aye uhh" which is how the dance instructor called it. last but not least, the fifth dance move wall called "Aunty Outside" and it was the catchiest one cause the song was so easily enjoyable and up beat in my opinion.
