Participating for the Trunk or Treat for TTC and Service Ambassadors was amazing!

This Saturday, August 16th, 2025, I volunteered with JSU Community Engagement Center for the 2025 Crop Drop! It was a wonderful experience, packing bags with sweet pastries and helping others pass them out to our community. Not only did I learn the importance of showing up for the people in Jackson, but it gave me an insight into how hard it is to get up early for manual work. Most of all, seeing the smiles and people dancing with the dj made the morning so amazing!

Volunteering for the Gateway Rescue Mission on Saturday, April 26, 2025, was a pivotal experience for me! Never before did I have the opportunity to provide lunch to the houseless, but that day I was able to fulfill one of my lifelong goals. It was a joy seeing the smiles and joy from all that was there, and the energy was so infectious that I wish it lasted longer! I appreciated the opportunity to volunteer for Gateway Rescue Mission, and I hope to help them in other avenues in the near future.
