Each and every time I volunteer with Kennedys Residential Services, it is a moment to remember.

My SECU Internship experience was both meaningful and impactful. Completing 263 service hours gave me hands-on exposure to the needs of an underserved community while allowing me to implement an action plan tailored to my site. With journals, hour tracking, and evaluations the program’s structure kept me accountable and encouraged reflection on the value and challenges of my work. Overall, this opportunity strengthened my professional skills, deepened my understanding of community engagement, and showed me how service can make a lasting difference.
