I volunteered for 3 hours at Capitol Area Food Bank. I had an enjoyable time packing boxes for those in need while listening to music with our coordinator, Rich, and all of the other volunteers. By the end of our time for the day we had packed 533 boxes which were about 28 pounds each. I’m glad that I was able to help pack these boxes so that the people in need can get the proper nutrition. I would definitely volunteer there again, it’s a great and safe environment.
