FA24 LVE 305 CRN 2464 – Exploring Human Rights, Advocacy for Veterans, and Working with Children and Youth at Risk

For this shift, I worked at the Shepherd's Pantry in Glendora. We (the lady on the shift with me and I) sorted out things to organize their distribution room. One of the things I did was to take the things like shampoos/conditioners, and scalp scrubs (both sachets and mini bottles) from different shipping boxes that were turned in as donations from people. I put them in the designated boxes where they go. One of them was labelled as shampoo/conditioners. I had to name the other box as scalp scrubs. Then, I made hygiene kits to give out to the people in need of them. They included shampoo/conditioner, toothbrushes, wash clothes, scalp scrubs, combs etc. We basically made different bags for both males and females. So, in conclusion, that is what I did to conclude my community service hours for the class!

Gave 3.50 hours on 09/30/2024 with The University of La Verne
