On April 7th from 6pm-9pm I volunteered with the diaper collective. I wrapped diapers and organized them as I was instructed to. I also wrote notes for parents that were going to pick up diapers. I always have a great time with the diaper collective and love being able to help parents and children in need.
On March 17 from 6pm-9pm I volunteered with the diaper collective to wrap diapers and write encouraging notes for parents. I also helped stack diapers onto pallets to keep them organized and ready for when they are going to be distributed.
On February 21st from 8am-1:30pm I attended the MathCounts Competition for middle school students. I was a grader for this event where I graded their papers and added their score totals. After grading I stayed to help clean up and assist with the last final rounds. I had a great time, this is an event I have gone to consistently.
On January 29, 2026 from 11:00am to 11:30am I attended the Honors College Planning and Mapping Your Major workshop. The workshop was presented by Johnathan Langley. During the presentation he communicated different campus resources available to better identify minors and graduate opportunities as well as job opportunities. He also discussed the importance of looking into pre-requisite for graduate school admission. He also discussed the importance of different types of advisors and reviewing progress for requirements.
On December 1st, 2025 I attended the Finding STEM Research Opportunities Off-Campus workshop from 1:30pm-2pm. During this time I learned about different opportunities regarding research across the nation. A lot of organizations that provide these research opportunities were mentioned and some internationship opportunities including a German program was brought to my attention.
On November 20th, 2025 I attended the Honors College Recess from 3pm-4pm. This recess was the "Grad school" recess in which I learned more about potential opportunities after undergrad and also possibilities at an MBA. They also had a soda bar which was a lot of fun and really cute!
On November 17, 2025 from 5:45pm-8:15pm I volunteered at the Diaper Collective in Springdale, AR. During my time there I wrapped diapers in packs of 25, wrote notes for parents that were picking up diapers for their children and helped pack up all the diapers that were ready to be handed out. I had such a great time at this service event. The diaper collective is an organization I love to volunteer with!
On November 8th, 2025 from 8am-10am I volunteered with Saint Vincent De Paul Church to help organize and run the food pantry that the church has. I helped organize different food items including peanut butter, bread, and a variety of canned items. I found this to be such a great experience being able to help others have a meal.
On November 3rd, 2025 I volunteered for 2 hours from 6pm-8pm at the Diaper Collective in Springdale, AR. During my time there I helped organize donated diapers and wrap pallets so they could be placed in storage. I also helped wrap individual diapers in packs of 25 and mark their sizes to ensure they are ready for all the families in need of them. I really enjoyed my time with them and had so much fun being able to contribute to an organization that helps families.
