My task: " Could you type up as much as you have time for, ads and all, in paragraphs for each article, rather than columns then label the Word doc. Genesee News and the date if it has one and send it back to my email."
I was given a full page from a 1967 Genesee News article and a member of the White Spring Archive ranch asked me to fully type up the Newspaper onto a word doc.
Feedback: this was a wonderful experience and I enjoyed reading this newspaper and having to type it all back up onto a word doc. Now people can go read old newspapers without having to have the original copy and it's easily accessible.
This task took me almost a little over 6 hours due to the newspaper pictures I was given were zoomed in and cut off so I had to swap between pictures to type up the full thing and getting all the information correct. As well as, having to re-read and making sure it looks accurate to the original.
I have attached the typed up version of the newspaper and as well as the newspaper pictures I was given.
