Roz Rixter

The Blind Boys of Alabama were simply amazing! The patrons really enjoyed them, as did I. I loved their interaction with the audience and how generous they were, with their time taking photos with the attendees.

Prior to her concert, I wasn’t familiar with Bria Skonberg. But, she was fantastic! She’s an amazing trumpeter, with an even more amazing voice. She can hold a note until you think she’s going to pass out. Listening to her made me feel like I was in a cozy nightclub on Bourbon Street, in New Orleans. I loved every moment of her performance.

I thoroughly enjoyed volunteering tonight! Bruce Hornsby, and his group, was great, as was the crowd and the volunteer staff, Mandy & Jasmine. (They really know how to make us volunteers feel appreciated!!)
