I was able to help more students apply to NCAT and other schools they want to apply to. Also I talked to them about college life and the do and donts
We were able to help seniors apply to schools that they wanted to go to. Whole also teaching them about A&T
We were able to decorate the outside of the donation box while also writing cards of inspiration for the children! Great activity!
This week I worked with the 2nd grade class with their math, story time, and exit ticket. It was a great time to really connect with the kids and help them learn
I was able to collect candy for a candy drive out in my service spree and when people brought candy they could get hours of service
With the help of Mrs. Junior. We were able to be a teacher’s assistant for the afternoon and eat lunch with the kids, take them to recess, and music class! It was an amazing experience that I can’t wait to do again next week
This was great experience for me to get to know students from the community and play with them outside as they waited for their parents
Today we painted with the kids and got to go outside! I had a kid who was really shy and not talking at first but after seeing what was wrong and her going to play outside by the time we were painting she was all smiles and giggles!
This was a great experience for me to work with the kids in the Greensboro community tutoring them after school.  I was able to build meaningful connections while also teaching them fundamental reading and math skills
