I attended The Coffee & Previewing our Fall 2026 HNRS Course Lineup. I loved all of the topics from every honors course preview and would have a very hard time choosing for my fall semester if I was not graduating.
I had an excellent experience serving my community and helping the American Red Cross. I helped facilitate local blood drives by welcoming donors with hospitality and helping expedite the donation process.
I attended an honors college preview discussing all things Mexico, its context in world according to culture, economics, education, as well as domestic cultural dynamics, class systems, history and more. Dr. Contreras was very knowledgeable and excited to discuss with us about a country he holds near and dear and I was very glad to be present to see what the honors college will offer in the fall!
I volunteered by attending and participating during Honors Path Game night. It is a privilege to be a part of the honors college and more so to be part of its growth and meet its future cohorts. I loved getting to meet the new cohort and be able to share my experience and help them feel more confident about their new journey at the University of Arkansas!
I volunteered at the Samaritan Community Center 2115 W Walnut St, where I was able to serve my NWA community in stocking, organizing, and assisting customers finding affordable needs. It is rewarding to be able to assist this large community center that receives hundreds of donations daily and help my community be able access items at affordable prices.
Participated in winter drive donation for the Yvonne Richardson Community center and donated 1 clothing item.
Participated in canned Salvation Army food drive hosted by the futures hub and donated 3 food items.
