For our philanthropy, Kappa Sigma supports Military Heroes Campaign which is supporting our veterans. Therefore, we hosted a talent show featuring songs and skits that raised a tremendous sum for our veterans. I personally helped out with assisting with the banner and crowd control. Not only was this a fun event to attend, but the fact that it also served a purpose made it more memorable to me.

On October 4th, I ran the Glow Run and placed in the top 15. Not only was this run benefitting a good cause, I also felt great after this run, both physically and mentally. I'm a runner but never had time to run during my busy college schedule so this was a good oasis for me.
