I read about Lisa on the gofundme and I felt so bad for her and her situation, no one should have to worry about money in place of health. I was able to donate $15 and I hope with the gofundme she is able to receive the treatment she needs.
Went to the event at KA where they had puppies from a local animal shelter. The puppies were so cute and playful, we all donated $10 for the shelter. It was so much fun!
I helped set up the easter egg hunt for the alumni kids. It was really fun watching them run around looking for the eggs and so adorable! We also had really great conversations with the alumni members about what ADPI was like when they lived in house.
When the women came in to talk to us about Beautiful Lives I was so inspired from their stories of helping women feel beautiful and important no matter their circumstances. I went back to my dorm and immediately started finding items I could donate.
It was a really good message and everyone there was there for each other. There was a sense of supportive community that really made the event feel important.
