I went to KARM and did the usual tasks I do. I put out new inventory, did recovery and helped customers if needed! I love the staff here and the cause KARM is a part of!

I was able to deliver meals out in West Hills today. I delivered to about 18 residences for about 19 individuals. After serving with this organization three times, I can say it is probably the most rewarding volunteer experience I have had thus for in my collegiate experience. I am grateful to volunteer with this organization.
I went again to KARM to volunteer and did my usual tasks like putting out new inventory, doing recovery and today I did some sizing checks throughout the store making sure the clothes were organized correctly by size. The staff at KARM are amazing and so so kind.
I was able to go to the Bearden store and volunteer for a little while. Today was extremely busy as there was a ton of volunteers who showed up so we all took on different roles. I always do love coming here because it’s a fun way to volunteer and make an impact in the community.
I was able to deliver meals to the route in Hardin Valley. It was a great experience because I not only get to interact with community members but am able to serve those who need it, may be less fortunate than I, or who can no longer do these things for themselves. It really makes me think and puts my life into perspective!
I came to KARM Bearden today and was able to help out our new inventory, do recovery and help customers! I really enjoy volunteering here as I get to interact with community members and so something for a great cause!
I was able to go to the store and help with putting out new inventory into its correct area, gathering items that had fallen onto the floor, were in incorrect areas or hangers that had nothing on them and making sure everything ended up in the correct spot. I like volunteering at Karm stores due to all purchases going towards buying meals for unhoused individuals.
I was able to go in a group with Maci McWhirter and Caroline Overs where we all delivered meals in South Knoxville. This was a very informative experience, as we were delivering to individuals who may have not been able to leave the home, or who lacked income and resources to get food for themselves. I appreciated this opportunity!
I was able to pop into KARM Bearden and do an hour of placing new items around the store! Today was a quick volunteer shift for me but was super nice to help out the stuff since it seemed very busy! The iPad wasn’t working today so I filled out my hour manually on the form.
I was able to go to KARM and help again with putting up the new clothing arrivals, sizing, gathering hangers and clothes from off the ground, as well as placing this incorrectly placed into their correct areas. I really enjoy doing this work knowing that I am giving back to the Knoxville community such as the unhoused population of Knoxville. I was learning about how the purchases people make here go towards meals for people. I was actually able to purchase something I was interestre din at the end of my shift which bought 6 meals!
