I volunteered at (Tree Planting at Dove Springs District Park) on Saturday and I learned how to properly plant trees accordingly based on how their roots have grown in order to maximize their growth and sustain life. Overall i want to say i planted about 4 trees with my group and a total of 13 trees counting the ones my other friends helped in as well. The whole event was very well organized and the training beforehand was very helpful. It was truly a great experience that i enjoyed but also helped the community. Overall the Austin Parks Foundation Staff did an excellent job and I'm sure i will be a returning volunteer.

It was good to give back and write the letters to those who serve our country

It was a really good experience and they treated the volunteers extremely well

(Brotherhood Event) Being a part of the leadership meeting and helping set it up and take it down, as well as setting up the BBQ event afterwards. It was great to learn more about the IFC community and how to be a better man
