It was an interesting experience. I loved the atmosphere the marathon created and the tons of people (and especially the dogs). It made me want to get up and run. I didn’t like that I had to wake up before 10 AM, but once I arrived, I loved everything about it. Access to free stuff is always a plus too!!
This event was very fun! I aided in collecting donations for the Alumni Association. With a donation, the customer can choose between a UTSA shirt or hat depending on the value of their donation. It was really fun to see everyone's eagerness and support for the school. I really liked the woman I was working with. I cannot recall her name at the moment, but she was very welcoming and very communicative about what she would like within her stand. I would volunteer to sell shirts with her again given the opportunity!
