There was lots of work to be done, and the weather was perfect. My cleanup partner and I encountered a man who claimed the roadside area from where we were picking up trash from was a "construction site", and he insisted we leave because it was "private property", although it much more presented to be a homeless encampment. We respected his request as to not upset him, and continued to pick up trash along the roadside, keeping more distance from his "construction site" as we moved on from the area. I look forward to ongoing KAB events, and will continue to teach my children to take care of our planet!

My sons and I enjoyed filling supply packets and look forward to our next KAB event.
We would love to be part of the official KABD event, but have a prior obligation at 10 am, and wish there were other times we could sign up to participate.
