Lots of parents and kids that enjoyed the gardens during Dino Days.
Gave 2.50 hours on 03/15/2025
It was very organized and you could tell all the Parents and Kids were having a good time. I did the second shift, but noticed most of the activity was in the morning. We had 5 volunteers from Zilker Garden Club, two worked the morning, and three the afternoon. I have worked the event for about six years and either worked the information table or the Monarch tent. I LOVE Roots and Wings and hope it continues for many years to come!!!

Great opportunity to guide families to Yule in the Park where they need to go and what activities are available.

Worked both shifts assisting others in all areas. Three of my Grand Children helped since they have assisted in the tent and tagging for several years during Roots and Wings. My Grandson helped at the end loading tables and chairs. Liz Cannedy of Zilker Garden Club once again did an awesome job of leading the butterfly tagging and releasing event.
