This event and the conversation had by the participants were inspiring and helped me to reflect on my privilege of food security.

Being part of the Big Event Committee was an amazing experience that taught me a lot about teamwork, organization, and problem-solving. I played a key role in making sure the event setup went smoothly, which meant coordinating logistics, adjusting plans on the spot, and helping volunteers get the tools they needed. This experience showed me how important communication and quick thinking are when working on a large-scale event. It also gave me a greater appreciation for the effort that goes into planning and executing community service projects. Seeing everyone come together for a common goal was incredibly rewarding, and I hope to apply what I’ve learned to future events and leadership opportunities.

Participating in the planning of the Big Event has been a valuable experience, allowing me to contribute to a meaningful initiative while honing my organizational and teamwork skills. With the event just two days away, I feel a mix of excitement and responsibility, knowing that our efforts will help ensure its success. I look forward to seeing our planning come to life and witnessing the positive impact it will have on the community.
