Impacts
I helped organize food items and stacked them by category.
My group and I had the opportunity to meet our client in person for the first time. We all took turns and asked him several questions about his emotional and physical health. He responded calmly and was willing to receive assistance.
SHARP: Orientation Meeting
I had the opportunity to meet other volunteers. Together we worked on preparing dry food bags. Getting them together for students to pick up. It was an enjoyable experience.
I helped prepare dry food bags. Each dry food bag had Rice, Pasta, Peanut Butter, Apple Sauce, Dates, Pistachios, Almonds or Walnuts. I also helped organize non-perishable food items on the shelves.
The Ice Cream Party was so much fun. All the clients were delighted.
Each client received a clear plastic ball tree ornament. I helped them add Christmas decorations to make it colorful. It was a fun activity.
Picture Day was so much fun.
All the clients seem cheerful.
The Fall Party was a success.
