It is so amazing being able to look back into peoples simple lives into areas that they probably never though someone would be reading almost 120 years later and that is the most amazing part of this project for me. Ms. Conroy is a very nice and friendly person to do this for and is very fast at replying to emails with any concerns.

I know with the holiday season woth how joyous it is supposed to be not everyone can feel love or cared for. With or without family or friends but I know from personal experience that a note or kind words from a stranger in any capacity can change a mood for a few minutes to a lifetime. I am so glad to be given this opportunity because of that knowing that I am able to create a happy or motivating though or smile for even a few seconds means the world to me.

Being able to look at these letters gives me such an interesting view of some parts of history that I would never have been able to read if I wasn't transcribing these documents, I look forward to being able to do more of these. I have never been more glad to be able to read and write in cursive while transcribing these.
