Riley Brown

A missional worker from my church, Taylor Penrod, founded the Grounded Sole coffee house. This following statement was located on their website.
"This will be a place that is rooted and grounded in the urban core of Wyandotte County. The Grounded Sole will foster community development and fellowship.

It will build community relationships with an "all are welcome" mentality that will aim to cease violence and isolation in the county of Wyandotte. It will be used a gathering place for the community- a place to hold their wins and losses."

I was so glad that I was able to help around the coffee shop and help make it feel welcoming and including! I cleaned around the shop, created flower arrangements for the tables, and even got to go shopping to find new plants for the front windows!
