    From January - March I went to the Veterans Nursing Home in Fayetteville a few times a week to volunteer with the patients during activity time as well as shadow the RN's there for future nursing experience! I did over 30 hours there (you can confirm with the verifier I put below) but on 3/4 I was there for 8 hours so that's the impact I did.

    This past Saturday while I was home in Dallas me and my mom worked with an organization called "Kids Eat Free". We went to a low income neighborhood and we provided meals for the families and then played games outside with the kids. I've done this for a few years now and it is a very rewarding experience putting a smile on the kids faces.
