During this zoom, we heard from Arkansas Support Network and Omni Center for Peace, Justice and Ecology. The women presenting told us about ways we can get involved with their organizations and opportunities for volunteering/internships. The first presenter from Arkansas Support Network spoke on their goal of empowerment and inclusion for those with disabilities. She talked about their community living services and opportunities to have an internship their in the marketing department. The presenter from Omni talked about their goal of making the world a safer place. She told us about upcoming opportunities to volunteer at NWA time exchange, and may day community kitchen. I will definitely be looking into these opportunities in the future!

Great zoom! Loved hearing about ways I can help the Fayetteville community!
I helped Ms. Sarah organize the Christmas decorations at the front of the store. This got me in the Christmas spirit and I was happy to help.
This is a great way to encourage students to be safe/ healthy and get the vaccine!
I bought hygiene products for the potter house hygiene drive. I am happy I was able to contribute to the cause!
I helped pass out candy to kids at the alumni trick or treat. It was so fun to see everyone in their cute costumes.
I brought 10 pairs of socks... so happy to help out!
I enjoyed getting to share my opinions about our school campus. I think that this survey will be very helpful to those who are actively trying to make our campus more comfortable and inclusive for everyone.
I really enjoyed this zoom called. I learned about one organization I had not heard of and learned more ways I can help with the other. I loved how they talked about ways we can help people during the holidays! It got me in the Christmas spirit and I will definitely be looking into that more this December. I also enjoyed learning about the opportunities coming up for the University of Arkansas service day!
I learned so much about different organizations in the NWA area. I had only heard of one of them, so it was exciting to listen to their mission statements and how students like me can help. I will definitely be looking into these more!
