I came to Vandergriff elementary this month and helped teachers with various afterschool tasks. I helped them clean/sanitize their desks and surfaces, organize papers, and prepare for future lesson plans. I really enjoyed getting to take time to help teachers with little tasks that may not seem like much to me, but it is great help to them in their busy lives. I am thankful for the connections I have made at Vandergriff and am looking forward to making more!

I donated blood with the Pre-Med society event and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience! I think it is a very personal and intentional way to give back to my community, and I am thankful for the opportunity to donate blood for a campus organization.
During my Thanksgiving break, I volunteered at Pleasant Hill Elementary, where I helped teachers clean, organize, and prepare their classrooms while their student were away on break. This was a great way to give back to those who work tirelessly in the education field. Teachers deserve all the help they can get, especially during the holidays! I thoroughly enjoyed giving back to the teachers and school that have done so much for me when I was a child.
I volunteered for Shelby Marks by helping her in her 1st grade classroom yesterday afternoon! I cleaned desks/tables, organized supplies, graded papers, and assisted her in other ways she was needing. It was a great way to give back to the school and my community.
I brought 8 hours worth of travel sized hygiene products to Chi O this week. Bringing toothpastes, floss, toothbrushes, etc. was such a fun way to provide and give back to the community and a great organization!
I posted a graphic on my instagram story Chi O made for Sexual awareness and violence prevention month! It is a great opportunity to spread awareness and ways to help through my personal social media.
I loved this fun opportunity to support Autism awareness month by wearing blue and posting it to my social media!
This past weekend, my friend Janie and I walked at Gulley park and picked up trash along the way. It was absolutely beautiful weather, and I feel so grateful to have the opportunity to give back to Fayetteville and its beautiful community parks!
I explored campus and took pictures of 7 bows from various greek life houses. I enjoyed looking for bows, as they are a constant reminder that our greek life values the lives of its members, like Madison. Posting bows may seem like a small act, but their impact on our campus life/greek community is tremendous.
I was a notetaker this semester for my Basic Econ class. I submitted my notes 3 times a week for those who were in need of additional class resources. While it was sometimes a challenge to stick to such a large commitment for the semester, I am thankful I was able to serve my campus community and those who need help with such in the classroom.
