It was so nice to work with the kids from Raising Expectations and to help them with their college applications. I came in with the Spelman Blueprint group and we worked with students on their life stories and how to apply that to their college essays and future career plans.

I attended the Secure the Bag: Critical Thinking workshop. Understanding the information while talking to the students in the breakout rooms was very helpful. Ultimately, I learned that critical thinking can impact your everyday thinking, life, and career. Using critical thinking skills is vital to advocate for yourself and your skillset in a career-driven world. Critical thinking is also essential to relate to and understand other people in your day-to-day life and make big life-changing decisions.

How did you resolve the situation?

I had so much fun this year cheering on the runners! I hope to do it again next year.
