Today was my last day at the CSC! I was very sad to leave because I have had so much fun and learned so much! I spent most of this morning talking to staff members and scanning/faxing paperwork.
Today, I organized the closet where children who visit the center can go to get a change of clothes or a toy.
Today, I alphabetically organized and filed the paperwork of new cases that had come in.
Today, I painted clay medals that are going to be given to children at an upcoming event the CSC is having.
Today, I helped make balls of clay that would later be turned into "worry stones" that children can play with if they get nervous during their interview. I also hung out with a child while his sibling was being interviewed.
Today, I watched some forensic interview videos from some of the CSC's biggest cases. Although it was sad and at times hard to watch, I found the videos very interesting.
Today, I got a tour of the CSC and filed some paperwork. I also spoke with a few members of the staff on what they do!
