Yesterday, I had my first harvest at the Faulkner County Library Urban Farm Project. All of the food harvested will be donated to the Conway Mutual Aid Collective in order to combat food insecurity within our local communities. I also transplanted some chard onto the eastern face of the plot, now that the days are growing longer.

On Thanksgiving, I constructed a green house/ cold frame to place in the Faulkner County Library's garden in order to grow veggies throughout the winter.
On October 20th, Zack from the Faulkner County Farm Project introduced me to the garden. On this day, I spent 3 hours prepping the soil, measuring/ planning the plot, transplanting some brassicas, and sowing several seeds into the plot.
I was a DRC volunteer in the Fall 2018 semester, and I completed 50 volunteer hours. I have attached my 2018 volunteer Note-Taker certificate below.
Note: Give Pulse only allows me to add 24 hours at a time, so I will duplicate this "add impact" to reflect the total volunteer hours I had logged (although it will show 48 hours rather than 50, I am not sure how to correct this).
