Honors Event- Went to the Honors Future Hub to grab a snack and take a study break!

Honors event- For the Biological Engineering Department, we went on a field trip to Fossil Cove Brewing Company. This was to tie in to what we are learning in class since we are doing a project of designing and doing the concept of "brewing" our own beverage. I learned that the process is much longer that I thought and the quantity of cold and hot water needed is greater than I had orginally calculated for our class project.

Graduate student-food insecurity survey for one hour of community service!!

Went to recess and got a little "good look with finals" goodie bag!
Worked on some last minute assignments and talked to other recess goers.

Donated 7 bags of clothes!

Attended Dr. Deng's, from the University of Missouri's seminar on Nano-composite membranes for water treatment applications. This was very interesting to me because it was amazing to see how extensive and innovative the engineering world can be with something so integrated into our day-to-day lives.
-Not an "honors" event but it was a CVEG hosted seminar!
