I liked how each kid remembered something from earlier in the semester we taught. When doing the post test once they got to the last question they all started to remember the activities we've been doing and writing down what they enjoyed most. The most challenging was getting them to engage with certain activities if they couldn't understand it. Once they were uninterested or didn't understand it was hard to keep them engaged for the rest of the lesson. My takeaway from today was that kid's listen even if you think they aren't they listen to what you teach then even if you think they're not.

I liked how interactive the kids are with us when we do activities. The school I attend is very involved with the community and provides for the kids in any way they can. The most challenging part so far has been behavioral issues or keeping the kids quiet when doing a fun activity. Within 3 weeks I can already tell a change in behavior when they comes for groups because they love to come and do groups. Today my key takeaway is realizing how much these kids have been through and this group is their happy place.

I liked how this service learning helped me better my active learning skills and learn to keep my opinions to myself. I also liked how easy the website was to work and navigate through. The most challenging part to me was not being able to give advice or explain what I thought about the situation. I took a lot away from this week because I chatted for 9 hours. I talked to many different people about all kinds of situations and issues. This has helped me get more familiar with how to speak with clients in my future career as a social worker.

I liked how easy 7 cups is for people to access when they need someone to talk to. I also like how this website helps me better my active listening skills and learn how to not give advice. I think the most challenging part is trying to comfort people without giving your own opinion on the situation especially when you know how to help with your own opinion. On this day I took a lot away especially chatting with people about family issues.
