It was fun listening to WYXR and learning more about this radio! I hope my voice is heard on the radio!

Although I was home, it felt good to help from home. I got to pack men and women underwear in order for the Catholic Charities to give it to the homeless and people in poverty. Helping out people that do not have a home and live in poverty is something amazing and just contributing in a small, but impactful way helped me learn to appreciate what I have, but also never hesitate to help others.

I liked being able to state my opinion about why it is important to give back to our community. Being able to reflect and encourage others to volunteer too and help our home be a better place gives you a sensation of comfort. I hope that my quote/personal reflection for this service opportunity impacts others!!
