    This was my final day volunteering at Blazer Kitchen. During my time here today, I got to help shoppers check out. It was much more busy this day than the other times that I had been at Blazer Kitchen. What I liked most about this experience was being able to help different shoppers shop and being able to get to know them a little bit while helping them shop. My key takeaway from this experience is that food insecurity looks different for everyone.

    On this day I assisted with the Halal Chicken delivery. This included taking the chicken off the delivery truck, separating, and packaging the chicken into Ziplock bags. I also assisted with the clean-up of this process.

    This was my first day volunteering here at Blazer Kitchen. I had just arrived after the delivery. I assisted with the cleanup process after putting everything in its place. This day also consisted of becoming familiar with the areas and procedures. I enjoyed getting to know the place where I would be volunteering.
