I went to the GDC for a clean up event called DeFrag. I was tasked with cleaning the furniture in one of the areas of the basement lab in the GDC. People were friendly and got cookies.
We created care packages for homeless people by putting together toothbrushes, socks, razors, ear plugs and other items into little bags to be distributed to homeless people. It was really nice because we also got to talk to our friends about how the end of the semester was going and it was fun.
I had a lot of fun being able to write letters to the veterans stationed in Afghanistan. I also enjoyed being able to spend time with other ULN members as we came together for this worthy cause.

I went to the Zilker Park where I volunteered in the Austin Trail of Lights event. My job was to be sort of a police person and to ensure that the guests were well taken care of and that everyone was having a good time. Overall, this was a really great and enjoyable experience. I had so much fun being there and getting to see all the Christmas lights.

I made inspirational posters with my small leader group and then we picked a place to post them so that students here at UT can see them and be inspired to do their best in finals.

I helped with baking cupcakes, and decorating them and finding inspirational quotes to put on them, with my small mentor group. Then we went to the PCL and handed them out to the students studying. It was a really great experience and I'm glad that I got to be a part of it.
