After going to the volunteer work night and hearing about how fun the Raise the Roof event would be, it was awesome to get to take pictures and be a part of such a successful event. My favorite part was the Austin Creative Reuse shop, where items made of recycled objects were sold to benefit the organization.

This is definitely an organization that I plan to volunteer for regularly. They share the importance of reusing materials for creative purposes and educate people about the impact it has on the environment. I love the hands-on activities and the dedication of everyone involved.
