During this service I worked with Pastor Daniel Moreno and a couple of volunteers to help clean up their church located in the east side. We pulled out weeds, picked up trash around the property, and cleaned the church building (sweeping, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, etc.). It was a very hardworking experience, but was a Saturday well spent with people who care about the community.

This service project was done in the beaten down community of Lucero Del Norte, where we worked on construction on houses and the local church. I was placed in one of the painting teams and worked the whole day in serving a host family and helping with constuction/painting their home. It was very exhausting and challenging work, but was completely worth serving in the end. It brought a smile to the community and allowed me to truly cherish the small things in life.
I had the privilege of serving in the preparation and clean up of the organization's, Campus Renewal, annual Vision Dinner. I helped set up tables, register and sign people in, give out information, answer questions, and clean up after the event. It was a night well spent with the organization and other volunteers.
This service was beyond amazing. We helped build houses, tile floors, and organized an outreach event for the community and children. It was one of the best experiences being able to make people smile through an act of kindness and love.
In this service project I volunteered at a local church's Spring Festival. I helped set up tables, chairs, and their performance stage. Throughout the event I also helped out any vendors at the event and picked up any trash around. It was a very meaningful experience.
In this small group community service project with our mentor Gabi Walker, we created positive notes for finals week and attached them to candy canes and then distributed them to students around campus for stress relief. The students were very thankful and receptive and appreciated the simple thing we were doing for them.
The work was actually very fun! Even though it was freezing cold outside, we got a lot of work done in the garden.
This was a great community service experience! I learned a lot of new things about gardening and caring for plants. We created compost and helped dig up weeds. Great experience overall.
This impact was very dear to me because it involved working with a small local church during their fall festival. My work involved setting up for the event, helping the vendors, greeting people, and help with cleaning. It was a very joyful experience.
