the block stood no chance
The panel was very informative about the history of student protests on campus and our rights to protest as citizens in general.
I thought this town hall meeting provided very good personal insight on protests and our rights as students and citizens in this country. They had different perspectives from students and faculty, which I thought was a very good inclusion.
This semester being apart of the NARAP program was really awesome because my days got switched to Saturday nights. This let me be more exposed to a bit busier of an emergency department and this exposure is really beneficial, I feel.
I am a part of the NARAP program in the Emergency Department of the hospital and volunteer their weekly. The shift I had on Sunday was the most impactful I have had so far. I witnessed how the ER staff interacts to successfully treat a bariatric patient and a patient under the influence of meth. While all of this happened, I still completed my regular duties in the ED by helping restock rooms, turn beds and help the CNA. I would recommend this position to any pre-health student because it provides great exposure to the medical field.
