You cant expect much in the kitchen. But the underlying truth is you’re the one that people have to place their starving lives in your hands. Serving a meal here at the salvation army was a heart warming and eye opening experience. It was an great opportunity to work with the head chef, SUE. A lovely woman filled with a kindred spirit that I had the pleasure to volunteer beside.
