I teach in the Milken Institute School of Public Health in the Department of Prevention and Community Health. My primary areas of interests are HIV/AIDS, mass incarceration, social justice and health equity.

    It was great to see students, faculty and GW family serving on MLK weekend. It's important for students and the GW community at large to see illustrations of humanity in modern times and I commend GW for bringing us together for one more day to serve!

    My only critique is that volunteers should be able to select the blocks they wish to volunteer in.
