Had the chance to volunteer at the Red Shoe Soiree this semester and help out with finding items for the silent auction. It was such a cool experience and very rewarding to know that all of this hard work that went to into this event was for an amazing cause! I love this philanthropy and I would volunteer for the Red Shoe Soiree again in a heartbeat.
Helped with year end mailings to donors and prospects for nursing scholarship program for the Research Foundation. Did this by helping stuff several hundred envelopes.

The Sunday before Spring break was over I worked at a St. Josephs table for two hours at St.Therese grade school in Kansas City . I helped prepare the food, filled cannolis and served people food that came through.
volunteered at Research Medical Center in Kansas City at a Non-profit organization. I helped stuff dental bags that were being sent to different schools in the KC area for dental screenings. It took me four hours to finish packing these bags that consisted of (tooth brush, tooth paste, floss, and an informational note for several different schools.
went to the Fayetteville animal shelter on November 17th for an hour! Had the chance to walk two fun dogs and play around with them!
Went to the Adpi house and decorated a bunch of cards for veterans day! And then I went to the veterans home and helped pass out the cards with other sisters and visted with the veterans! Went on November 11 and volunteered for three hours.
