Alexis Davis

Through involvement within the FCBE Student Delegate Board, Alexis assisted with the Dean's Office renovation on the 4th floor of the business college. This consisted of lifting and moving boxes to storage for an Admin Assistant to Interim Dean Chuck Pierce. Misc tasks include trash sorting, and storage room organizing. Lunch was offered during the project, as well as accommodations for breaks and moving assistance. Overall it was a long, yet rewarding task because the office space is set to begin construction soon and receive new paint, furniture, and software. Alexis hopes to continue her philanthropic strides as a volunteer within the organization as she plans to volunteer again during the Toy Truck Drive. (attachments included)

Between October 31- November 2, 2019 I sign up for 8 volunteer spots to assist with 2019 UofM Parent & Family Weekend. The organizers were very considerate and kind to all volunteers during the volunteer hours. I have attached the receipt of hours that I registered for during the family weekend.

During Fall Break 2019 (Monday Oct 14th), I volunteered with this organization to assist with the packaging and disposal of used items for charity. Overall this was an informative experience and even allowed me to collect content for an upcoming group project (documenting litter and waste). I was allowed additional time to earn hours towards my service hour requirements, and am appreciative for the opportunity.
