Helped register people to vote with the University Democrats

Helping out at the university's community garden was a fun way to spend some free time because of an away football game

I played some traditional pieces with members of the Longhorn Band at the Rosedale School (a school for differently-abled children in Austin). I really enjoyed the joy and excitement that we created for those kids.

Supported our Women's Soccer Team by playing Texas Traditionals with members of Longhorn Band as the team played against Baylor.

Members of Longhorn Band, including myself, supported members of Lake Travis High School Band by attending one of their football games and playing music in the stands with them. I enjoyed making a connection with the students. Attending this event for a second time and seeing the traditions that I helped start at their school was also really cool.

Performed at the Torchlight Parade with Longhorn Band. This event helped me feel more connected with the university by joining LHB with several organizations around campus to support our football team before our yearly game against OU.
