I volunteered as an event photographer for the MVMT50 Pitch Black SXSW Event. The first entrepreneurial pitch event for Black Women Entrepreneurs to compete for a 12k investment in their business. The 10k winner developed a non invasive test to detect pneumonia called "nopneu." I had the plant care guide professionally printed for the Amala Foundation LEAPS group service project. I delivered the guide to the Amala Foundation and met with the group members to assess the final touches to the landscape installation and water the plants at the Sanctuary Location. The new landscaping will help beautify the grounds, create a sustainable drought resistant environment. Since a large percentage of the Amala Foundations revenues are generated from renting this space for special events such as weddings, beautifying the grounds contributes to the appeal of the space and creates a warmer more hospitable setting for special events.
I updated the digital landscaping plan with LEAPS group members changes to the original plan from Amala Foundation request and added member submissions to the Plant Care Guide.
