I had a great time with the dogs! It was great to see so many people interested in adopting those sweet pups. I was also thankful that the HSO has a process of how they adopt the dogs and really try to place dogs in the right environment.

I absolutely loved volunteering for this event! It was very humbling to see all the veterans, families of lost ones, volunteers giving their time. I had to take a few moments to really soak it all in. It is a day I will never forget.
